My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Mr. Friendly's a special sweet kitty waiting for someone to scoop him up and make him their furever boy. This beautiful kitty was found in the middle of an existing colony of community cats but it was obvious he didn't start out that way. It appears he was dumped there when he was about 2 years old. Thankfully one of the caregivers saw he was friendly and brought him to the local kitty care center.

His foster mom said it seems like he was just waiting for that human connection. And it sure felt great to be safe inside where he belonged! It didn't take long for his caregivers to see that he loved to play with toys and (if you can't tell by his name) he turned out to be quite the friendly kitty!

Mr. Friendly is a big boy with a gorgeous sleek black coat that really shows off his pretty white whiskers. While he has been around other kitties, he hasn't had any exposure to dogs in his foster home. He is friendly with children, and would make a wonderful kitty for a family or a quiet home with older adults. He would be happy in a home as an only kitty or in a home with kitty siblings. If you're searching for an affectionate young adult kitty who loves to be petted, is playful, and wants to be where you are...Mr. Friendly is ready to meet you!

If you would like to introduce yourself, this sweet boy will be at the adoption events at Petsmart in Pensacola (Davis Highway store) on Saturdays. Please complete one of our Kitty Adoption Forms on our Adoption Information page and be sure to mention Mr. Friendly. He has all his shots and is already neutered, too. He can't wait to meet you!

More about this rescue

Everett Animal Welfare Group is an all volunteer organization that works to humanely reduce the number of stray and homeless cats in our community thru spay and neuter, adoption and trap neuter return.
We know our cats and kittens and can make a purrfect match for you.
We do not adopt cats to homes outside of our local community so we can always stay in touch and close driving distance.

We assist people in accessing low cost spay or neuter surgeries thru our local vets as partners and by small transports to low cost, high quality Spay clinics outside our community.
We teach free trap, neuter and return classes and loan traps as available.
