My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Introducing Celeste, the embodiment of curiosity and playfulness in the form of a charming male kitten. Despite his name traditionally being associated with the celestial, Celeste brings his own earthly joy and energy into every moment. Outgoing and endlessly curious, he approaches life with a sense of wonder that`s truly infectious.

Celeste`s days are filled with adventure, whether he`s darting around on his exercise wheel or engaging in spirited play sessions with his beloved wand toys and humans. His playful antics and boundless enthusiasm never fail to bring laughter and delight to those around him.

Beyond his mischievous escapades, Celeste`s outgoing nature fosters connections with everyone he meets. His friendly demeanor and inquisitive spirit make him a beloved companion and a source of endless joy. Celeste isn`t just a pet; he`s a cherished friend, always ready to embark on new adventures and create lasting memories. With his zest for life and magnetic personality, Celeste brightens every day with his presence.

Celeste`s adoption fee includes his neuter, microchip, Rabies vaccine, 2 FVRCP vaccines, FIV/FeLV combo test and up to date on flea/tick preventative.

Go meet their pets

We do adoptions on the square in Dahlonega most weekends, attend various local events, have annual fundraisers, and our animals can be seen at the shelter any day from 10:00 - 4:30 (an hour for lunch from 12:00-1:00). Come by and see the new changes at the shelter as well, ask to volunteer, or just introduce yourself and meet the wonderful staff members.

More about this shelter

Established in 1977, TLC is one of the oldest no-kill shelters in North Georgia. Our shelter is on about six acres near the Lumpkin County shelter, and about five miles east of Dahlonega. Our focus is saving as many homeless pets as we can, and preventing the birth of unwanted pets. We have always relied on private donations to care for as many animals as we can.
