Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
I found a new home! Plenty of my friends are looking for one too. Check out other pets at this shelter, or start a new search.

Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Rufus, an 8 year old going on 2 year old minpin with an adventuresome spirit! He arrived in Phoenix on January 3, 2006 to begin his new life as an adored dog. The first 8 years of his life he lived with the Woodley’s in Sanford, NC along with about 500 of his cohorts. Rufus was lucky – the ALDF “seized” him and 325 of his nearest and dearest friends. Look at Rufus enjoying a bed in the sun! He loves to be held - even enjoys baths! Rufus had has perfected the “happy minpin dance”, the minpin shuffle and the “little boy lay back” – where he lays on his back, front and back paws spread open so you can scratch his chest and belly, snoring in complete happiness! He enjoys sleeping on a soft, clean bed, prances for his food, water and a position in the sun! When you talk to Rufus, he wags his entire body!
Fostering an ALDF dog is not for everyone. Only the patient, loving, patient, kind, patient humans need apply at WWW.aldf.org, click on Woodley case and you will find an application and pictures of Boston Terriers and Jack Russels in need of kind, compassionate, loving and patient human foster homes. If you would like to foster Rufus or one of his minpin cohorts, please apply at ALDF’s website and you will be contacted by the Shelter Manager.
