Deposit of $50 which reserves the dog. This fee covers transportation expenses to transport across the border.

Home Check

Home Checks are required on all applications in Mexico. If you live in the US/Canada, photos & videos may be required of your home and yard.

5.

Take the Pet Home

All dogs will be delivered across the border to a rendezvous location, usually in Calexico, CA.

Additional adoption info

All dogs will have a minimum of 3 vaccines, dewormer, flea and tick medication, and if old enough, they will be given rabies and be spayed/neutered,

Visit our website or facebook page to view our available dogs or come to our rescue located at km 183 San Felipe, Baja California
Heading south on Mexico Hwy 5, at KM 183, turn right at the Orange Pharmacy. Go up 5 streets and turn right.
We are the 3rd property on the left.

Hours open to the public are 1 pm to 4 pm 7 days a week.

San Felipe Dog Rescue is a 501c3 charitable organization that rescues the homeless, neglected and abused dogs of San Felipe.
We provide:
Food and shelter, veterinary care, training, and loads of love to these animals at our new San Felipe Shelter.
A foster network as a stepping stone to our dogs FUREVER home.
Support to SNIP’s spay and neuter program to help reduce the number of homeless and unwanted dogs in San Felipe.
Education to the local schools raising awareness of animal welfare.
Transport to our partner adoption centers.

San Felipe Dog Rescue volunteers are truly passionate about getting these dogs off the street and finding a forever home for every dog.
