Sweet Lola is was found by a Good Samaritan as she was trying to fend for herself outdoors. When she came to us her temporary caretaker told us all about her! Lola is a "laid back kitty who would do well in a variety of homes". She's very friendly with new people and has done well with children and other cats. Lola is very affectionate! When she's not asking for pets or playing with her crinkly ball, she's happy just to be in the same room with you while she lounges in her kitty bed.
Lola has a heart defect which will need to be monitored and she'll need to see your veterinarian every 8 months for an echocardiogram and check up. Our staff members will be happy to speak with you further about Lola's needs.
If this animal is located at our Manhattan Adoption Center, head in to meet them and see if you are a match! We are a same-day adoption center, and an application does not put you on a list or hold an animal for you. If they are in a foster home, please submit an online application and our team will reach out to further discuss the adoption process.

Our adoption team will contact you via email to coordinate a Zoom interview with the pets foster parent so you can learn about how he or she has been doing in a home. After a Zoom meeting, we will schedule an in-person interaction at the shelter so you can meet the pet and take them home with you same day!
