My journey began in a city pound when I was just a tiny 2-week-old puppy, alongside my mom and siblings. We were lucky to have a young and caring mom who raised us all to be healthy and happy pups. I inherited a bright and friendly personality from her, and I love playing with my friends and toys.
I'm a gentle soul who enjoys the company of others. If I find a special toy, I like to have some quiet time to play with it in a cozy corner. I get along well with other dogs, and I'm always up for a good play session.
While I haven't met any cats yet, I'm open to making new feline friends. I have a moderate energy level, so I enjoy outdoor activities but also appreciate some calm relaxation time at home.
I may be a bit unsure and scared when it comes to new experiences like walks, but with the right family to guide me, I know I can learn to enjoy exploring the world around me. I haven't shown any signs of aggression, resource guarding, separation anxiety, or escape tendencies. And while I'm not housetrained just yet, I'm eager to learn and please my new family.

Although a 1-on-1 trainer is often not needed, it is good to have someone in mind in case any problematic behaviours arise. Most bad behaviours can be modified if caught early enough, so make sure to nip undesirable behaviours in the bud before they become serious problems.
Basic training should be taken seriously, but should not begin until your dog is well settled in - at least a couple of weeks. After you feel your new dog is relaxed and comfortable in their new home, check out training courses in your local area. Even basic beginner courses like those taught at a local pet store can have a huge benefit in helping your dog learn to socialize and get used to being in public situations, all with the added benefit of strengthening their bond with you.
