Meet Calico 🐾❤️
All I can say is that Calico is perfect. She raised her litter of eight puppies and did a terrific job. Her teeth are white and sparkly so we guess her age to be about 2 or 3.
She is a good size at forty two pounds.
She could be a shepherd mix with maybe some heeler. That could explain her speckled legs.

Calico just completed heartworm treatment and is ready to find her forever home. She is pleasant, kind, loving, and easy going. Of course Calico goes to the bathroom outside and walks well on a leash. No crate needed here, she has perfect house manners. She doesn't mind car rides either.

Calico has been living with 11 other dogs and 4 cats. Sure she might chase a cat if it runs, but I consider her cat friendly. She likes to fetch and play with toys. She also likes to lay next to her human for naps and bedtime. She greets neighborhood children and guests with her tail wagging.

Our rescue pets are fostered in Southern foster homes (unless otherwise stated) and are posted for adoption once they are completely vetted and ready to travel. Our pets are adoptable in Alabama and New England States. Our adoption fee includes transport fee, spay/neuter, current vaccinations, deworming, heart worm test for animals over 7 months old, all necessary vetting and an interstate health certificate.
