Smokey is an awesome dog. He plays with my grandchildren and does not jump on them or overpower them in anyway. He is just laid back, easy going and very smart. He is tremendously affectionate and only wants to please his humans. He just wants to please and return the love of his human...he never met a stranger though and really doesn't care who wants to give him alittle love and attention. Just the sweetest boy around. He is house trained, completed all vaccinations, neutered, and microchipped.
Smokey is only one of two adult dogs that survived a house fire in which his owner was taken to the hospital and never returned to claim him. His home was a total loss.
Please consider giving Smokey the forever home he seeks! If a couch potato is what you are interested in, he may be what you are looking for....he loves to play with the other dogs but when not playing he loves to lay close to his humans on the couch.

RPACI is a non profit rescue, and currently possess our 501C3 to operate as such. Please visit us on Facebook: Rebecca's Paws and Claws in Remlap and our website: www.rpacirescue.org. All dogs from this rescue are transported from Alabama to the New England area and delivered in RI. Each dog will come fully vetted. Price also includes transportation and a Health Certificate as required by law. There is a 100.00 deposit required at the time of adoption to secure the transport crate. The remainder of the fee will be paid once you pick up the dog. Naturally the 100.00 comes off the total owed at pick up. It will be refunded if for any reason you decide you do not want to adopt, unless the transport has already left.with the dog. To get a application please go to:
