My name is Beauregard!

Foster Report: Beauregard

Beauregard has been with us for over a couple of weeks now and I can honestly say he is the best pup! He is going to make one lucky family so incredibly happy!

Beau Beau, as we have called him, is so sweet and snuggly, thinks he’s a lap dog and loves any attention. He is also very content to lay on a blanket with a bone and just be near everyone.

I have 3 little ones and Beau has been amazing with them! He has a sweet and extra special bond with my baby and loves to be right up next to him. We sprinkled little bones around the house, which have helped deter him from all the kid toys and he’s honestly pretty great about grabbing those instead. We’re working on saying, “drop” when he does have a kid toy and he is quick to listen.

We have crated Beau at night and although he was really hesitant to go in when we first brought him home, he’s more willing to now and it isn’t an issue.

This sweet boy is eager to be your buddy, isn’t much of a barker, has great manners for such a young puppy and will be a quick learner. He’s okay with cats, kids and might be slow to meet other dogs as he is a little nervous at first but then does just fine and begins to play.

My favorite thing about this guy is his calm and loving demeanor. He is not in your face asking for attention but he will quietly walk over and plop himself down on your lap or lean in against you and let you know he wants some love. He’s incredibly gentle and just has the best little soul. If we weren’t leaving for a month long trip this summer, we would be hard pressed not to keep him! I hope he finds the best family to love him like we have- they will be so lucky to have him!
