My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

One perfect dapple up for adoption! Surrendered due to owner’s health. He was raised with an amazing amount of love and caring and would like to have it that way forever more. He stared life out a little rough when his mother started to eat him when he was born. He has a few missing toes and his ears where chewed on. They make him one of the cutest little doxie we have ever seen. Satchmo is an 8 year old neutered male, 13 lbs., UTD on shots, and just had his teeth cleaned. He gets along well with other dogs, ignores cats, and likes children (as long as they don’t grab his face which just scares him). He loves to ride in the car but mostly he just loves to snuggle. He will do best in a home where there is someone around most of the day – or at least until he feels really settled. Please consider adding this sweet (lap) dog to your family.

His foster family says he is a cuddlier and kisser. He like children, but he has not been around any under the age of 5. He has claimed a few blankets in the house and left is teeth holes as markers. LOL! He still has accidents in the house but has started to bark here and there to let you know he has to go outside. He would be better in a house where someone is home most of the day. He gets along well with the foster families dog.
