My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Haaaaaaave you met Ted?

This incredibly handsome pittie mix will knock your socks off. He's got all the unadoptable stigmas - being a black dog AND a pittie mix AND a teenager pup - but he is about as sweet as they come. He's a typical 8 month old pup, but is both kennel and potty trained. He loves other dogs, and is can be a little shy around new humans but warms up quickly (especially if they have treats!). Ted is cat tested, and could honestly care less about them.

Ted's only downfall is that he gets extremely car sick, so he will do best with a family who plans to keep him home (or is okay with him getting sick in the car!).

You won't want to sleep on this perfect pup - get your apps in to meet him today!

Ted's adoption fee is sponsored by MOD Vintage. What does this mean? With an approved application his fee is $0. Ted comes with all age appropriate vaccines, neuter, microchip, and heartworm prevention. To meet Ted, submit an application today at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/LUCK/Dog

More about this rescue

Lucky 13 Rescue is a federal 501(c)3 organization dedicated to the rescue and aid of homeless and neglected dogs in the Kansas City metro and surrounding rural areas. We do not limit our efforts to a specific breed, but rather strive to assist any dog that is facing neglect, homelessness, abuse or death. Our ultimate goal is to rehabilitate each canine in our care through placement in loving fosters homes until they can be carefully matched with adoptive families.
