My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

ABOUT SUGAR
Looking for a snuggly senior? Come meet Sugar! She is a 13-year-old gorgeous torti lady. Sugar came to HAP from a high-intake shelter in New Jersey when they no longer had space for her. While many seniors decline in the shelter, Sugar is just happy we have treats for her.

If you are interested in adopting this cat, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific cat but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! We may require all household members, including children, to come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, and a small bag of food to get you started
