Meet Bruce!

Bruce is a 1 year old pitbull mix who enjoys snuggles and treats! Bruce loves to go hiking but also enjoys a good couch cuddle! Bruce is kennel and potty trained!

Bruce would do best in a home as the only dog or with female dogs only. He has done well with submissive/neutral males in the past. Bruce does well with children! Young children should be supervised as he doesn't know his size.

1.
Submit Application

We are a foster based rescue. In order to meet our pets you must have a current application on file. This protects our pets!

2.
Meet the Pet

Once you have an application on file, you are able to meet one/multiple pets. Since we are foster based a scheduled place/time will apply.

3.
Interview

Once you've found a pet that you'd like to apply for, we will set up an interview to ensure this dog will fit your lifestyle and desires!

4.
Approve Application

After the interview, our board will discuss your application and determine suitability. Please allow 7 days for a member to reach out!

5.
Sign Adoption Contract

Before your new friend can come home, you will fill out an adoption contract!

6.
Pay Fee

After you fill out a contract, you will pay the adoption fee. This covers a portion of the cost of care! Donations greatly appreciated!

7.
Take the Pet Home

At last you get to bring your new dog home! We will send all necessary paperwork home with you! We also include additional resources!

Nova's Reason is a foster based rescue. To meet our pets, please visit one of our events or fill out an application! Most of our events are located in Glenwood, AR however we occasionally visit surrounding cities as well!

More about this rescue

We are Nova's Reason Pit Rescue! Our 501c3 rescue is foster-based at this time and located in Glenwood, AR.

Our mission is to rehabilitate and place stray, abandoned, and abused pitbulls of all ages into qualified loving homes!

We specialize in rescuing and rehabbing pitbulls/pitbull mixes. However in some cases we do intake other breeds. All of our dogs are assessed and started on training prior to adoption! We do our best to reduce stigma for bully type dogs and increase education on proper dog ownership!

Our goals are:
-To educate, promote, and assist the public in proper dog ownership to help reduce the number of stray and mistreated dogs

-Provide the highest level of care possible to every dog that enters our program. We strive to rehabilitate the dogs not only physically but mentally as well

-To match our adoptable dogs with homes that will provide them with proper care, love, and attention for the rest of their lives

-To promote humane treatment, care and respect for Pitbulls/Pitbull Mixes
