Jorgen Von Strangle is a handsome 3-year old male kitty who was surrendered by his owner on May 1, 2024 with several other cats who had shared his home.
This big kitty has a gorgeous buff tabby short smooth coat, a long ringed tail, and a beautiful face with dark golden eyes, a pink nose, and long white whiskers.
Jorgen Von Strangle is understandably afraid and apprehensive being in a small cage in an unfamiliar place. These photos were taken on May 3rd after Jorgen was moved to The Jungle Room (one of our adoption rooms). It breaks our hearts to see him looking and feeling so frightened since he doesn't yet realize that he is safe and that we love him unconditionally. We look forward to taking more flattering pictures when he is a bit more relaxed/trusting.
Jorgen was given vaccinations, wormer, and flea treatment on May 3, 2024. He weighed 12 lbs that day. Jorgen was given booster vaccines on May 18, 2024.
Jorgen Von Strangle will be neutered in the near future (tentatively on May 28th) and will soon be looking for a home of his own either through adoption or rescue.
Rescue groups may contact our HSOV Feline Rescue Coordinator via email (sharonpaul2@suddenlink.net). We can usually help with transportation.
Update: Jorgen Von Strangle was neutered on June 25, 2024 and was also given rabies vaccine.
