My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Dexter

This handsome man is often overlooked, unfortunately he has multiple traits that we see overlooked all the time; he is a solid black, adult, bully breed. What most people don’t know is Dexter is an absolute gentleman, he is the type of dog I absolutely love having around and has great manners. He has proven to be very neutral when meeting other pups and really just wants to sunbathe and relax in the yard. He is not a huge fan of his kennel but will calm down and relax during quiet time. He has an absolutely hypnotizing gaze and just wants a cozy bed to lay in at night. Please share and give Dexter a better chance!

He is located at our adoption center in Aurora, CO. He is UTD on all vaccines, microchipped and neutered! Apply online on lolasrescue.com

Notes from previous shelter:

A1916546 DEXTER (HW NEG)

Integrated in a foster home with fosters dog

NEUTERED - Lab Mix - 1 yr - 42 lbs

Foster Notes - Very proud of his sits, does this adorable squinty eye thing when he does them. Gives lots of kisses!

My favorite time of day

Is: Anytime my people are home.

I’m happiest when: I’m out of the kennel and hanging with my people.

My favorite toy is: I love to play with a kong and chew on bones- don’t care much for balls!

My favorite past time is: Romping around with my brother until I get sleepy.

It is our hope to save as many adoptable dogs as possible from uncertain futures, and find them forever, loving homes. Our dogs come from all situations, from families that can no longer keep them, strays, to shelter dogs that are on the euthanasia lists at high kill shelters around the country.

Our rescue is run solely on the help from our dedicated fosters, volunteers, and donations. We are always searching for new amazing fosters and volunteers to help us expand our mission and do even more amazing life saving work in the future.
