This baby boy has not had a fair shot at life! He landed at the shelter a few months old, and thought he had his forever home when an adopter came along. A short 2 weeks later, he was returned because someone in the household had allergies. This sweet boy is learning the ropes on how to be a dog from his two foster brothers, and getting out all of the pent up energy he had at animal control! He's working with a trainer on leash manners and not jumping when he greets, and would do best with an active family or a friend to play with!

More about this rescue

HFGM was started by mother and daughter, Denisse and Lenora, to aid abandoned and homeless animals, and to promote the concept that people’s lives are enhanced by responsible pet ownership. We are a volunteer, foster based dog rescue serving the metro Atlanta area.
Dogs in our care are spayed/neutered, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. Potential adopters then undergo an application process to ensure they can provide the home each dog needs. We believe a pet is a lifetime commitment and every animal deserves a stable and loving home.
