In Dec. of 2021 Gus was brought into Big Thompson Animal Hospital with a urinary blockage. His owners surrendered him due to financial constraints. The hospital provided him with the medical care that he required. He was the clinic cat until they could find him a home. My daughter, an employee there, begged to bring him home. Since then my formerly lost cat of 2 years returned home. Gus and my previously lost cat do not interact well together, causing stress to the both of them. We thought it would eventually pass but it is only getting more stressful. Due to his medical history Gus requires a stress-free home.
Gus is such a sweetheart; he can't get enough cuddles from the people he adores. He likes to get under the covers, especially with a soft blanket. He doesn't like closed doors, if it's a lever door handle, he can open it. He is an indoor/outdoor cat (using a pet door) Sleeps inside at night, occasionally bring gifts from time to time. Gus is always on time for dinner 7:30pm
