Hi, my name is Kepler and I'm looking for my forever family!!
My story started out kinda sad, my foster mama found my brother, my sister and me wandering around in the country when we were baby puppies. Now that I'm more grown up, I'm ready to spread my wings and fly right into my forever home (and your heart!).
I'm absolutely crushing this grown dog stuff, I sleep all night in my crate and rest quietly in there when my foster mama can't keep an eye on me. I know how to go potty in the yard and I'm learning that I can play with my dog toys (but not human stuff). I even sleep in my crate for 9 hours a night, but I'll bark to let you know if I need to go potty so I don't make a mess in there.
I'm a regular little social butterfly, I love all the dogs in my foster home. I'm very sweet and respectful of the older dogs, I give them all the kisses I can until they tell me to stop and then I go about my way. I'm even a big foster brother! My mama got a new dog who was very shy and timid, I showed him all the ropes of being a foster dog around here and took him under my wing to bring him into the pack! We spend all day wrestling and chasing all around the house and yard.
I'm going to be a big boy when I'm all done growing, maybe around 45-60 pounds. I'd love an active family who could take me on lots of walks, hikes, or even just play around the back yard with me! I'm great with other dogs but I'd be ok solo too as long as you give me lots of snuggles and we can go on some adventures. I love going in the car, my foster mama has a car crate set up for me and I jump right in, I'm ready to GO GO GO!!

Note from foster: Kepler is a great natured puppy with a real knack for being around other dogs. He's very sweet and gentle with my senior chihuahua and in love with my senior bluetick hound. He loves to lick her ears but knows when to stop when she starts getting grouchy with him. He does really well in a crate and is very curious about the world around him. With puppy proofing he is pretty reliable in the house but I still keep him crated when I can't keep an eye on him. He's a really bright boy and would love to learn some new tricks to keep his sharp mind busy!
Local adoption fee is $250 (in TX)
Out of state adoption fee is $500 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)

Adoption counselor will email you to discuss the inquiry/application,and give more info about the pet, the foster and adoption process..

Pay Fee
If you are approved to adopt, payments can be made on our website through PayPal, Debit Card or any major credit card.

We work hard to place dogs in the right homes, if the adoption does not work out and we have room to take the dog back into the rescue, we will. However, the sheer number of needy animals in TX usually means we become full quickly after the dog is adopted. So, in those cases we will post the animal, help the adopter screen applicants and help facilitate finding another home for the dog.
