My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Luna recently came to ARC with two other kitties because her guardian was moving. Although her guardian was moving without her, this time it was a good thing. Luna’s living conditions where she was were not good. Luna is now gaining weight and getting more comfortable being at ARC. Although she still prefers a quiet setting, she is starting to spend time out on the screened area and wander around mixing with the other kitties. She is getting more relaxed with each day that passes.

Come meet Luna. Spend a little time getting to know her and see for yourself what a gentle, good-natured kitty she can be. And hopefully, soon she will find a home where she can feel safe, secure, and loved forever!

More about this rescue

The Animal Refuge Center (ARC) of Fort Myers is a not for profit animal welfare society dedicated to stopping the escalating cost to impound, care for, kill and dispose of dogs and cats dying for no reason other than having been born. ARC is helping to cut the large numbers of homeless animals which eventually cuts the costs to taxpayers, which to date has reached over half a million dollars a year.

ARC is a non-euthanasia organization. Once we accept an animal for adoption, IT WILL NOT BE DESTROYED TO MAKE ROOM FOR ANOTHER. We are here to help the unwanted and neglected animals who now face certain death.
