Meet Betsy Boo: Your New Best Friend (and Expert Cuddler)!
Looking for a pup who’s equal parts love and laughter? Meet Betsy Boo! At about 2 years old and 60 lbs, Betsy is a big ball of joy with a tail that wags faster than your Wi-Fi on a good day. She’s a professional cuddle buddy, and if you’re not careful, she might just coax you into an impromptu game of fetch—her personal favorite!
Betsy’s Winning Qualities:
• Friendly and Social: Betsy is a people-pleaser with a special knack for making friends. Her tail wags at double speed when she meets new folks or fellow furry friends. You’ll never be lonely with Betsy around—she’s like your own personal cheerleader, but quieter!
• Moderate Energy: Betsy’s got the perfect balance—she’s ready to join you for a jog around the block, a hike in the hills, or a movie marathon on the couch. She reads the room better than most people, so whether it’s playtime or downtime, she’s on board.
• Smart and Willing to Learn: Betsy’s already mastering commands like “sit,” “crate,” and “touch,” and she’s on her way to becoming the star student of your family. Fetch? She’s got that one down to a science. Her leash skills are improving daily—watch out, she might teach you a thing or two!
• Playful Fetch Enthusiast: Tennis balls, beware! Betsy will have you playing fetch so much you’ll start dreaming of tennis balls. She’s always up for fun in the sun, rain, or whatever weather comes your way.
• House Trained and Car-Ready: Betsy’s a pro when it comes to house training—no accidents here! She’s also always ready for a car ride, whether it’s to the park or just down the street. Just don’t forget the snacks.
• Biggest Smile: Betsy’s grin could light up a room faster than you can say “good girl.” She’s a perpetual optimist who sees the silver lining in every situation—especially if it involves treats.
• Minimal Barker: Looking for a quiet companion? Betsy’s more interested in spreading joy than making noise. She’s all about the good vibes.
🏡 Betsy’s Perfect Match:
• Active Families: Betsy’s ready to be your adventure buddy, whether that’s a walk in the park, a hike, or just a playful romp in the backyard. Have another playful dog at home? Even better—Betsy loves a good playdate. But if lounging at home is more your speed, she’s totally cool with that too.
• Structure and Love: Betsy’s a smart cookie who’s toy and treat motivated, so you can teach her just about anything. Show her the ropes, and she’ll fit right into your routine. Plus, she’s a sucker for love and praise—she’ll do anything to see you smile.
• Enrichment: Betsy believes that variety is the spice of life. She’s a fan of treat puzzles, trying new foods, catching bubbles, and showing off her agility skills. If you’re looking for a pup who loves a good challenge, Betsy’s your girl.

https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success.
Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress!
Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond.
Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet.
The rescue’s hard costs alone (excluding transport) for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,368. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the adoption fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. Transport is a significant additional expense to the rescue.
While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that the rescue does not receive government funding and must fundraise to offset the remaining expense balance which ranges $100-1,000++ per animal on these direct costs.
It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS:

Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
Follow our rescue journey and connect with us on our website and social media platforms. Together, we can make a difference, one adoption at a time.
