My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hey there, I'm Dim Sum, the fur-tastically dynamic dumpling you didn’t know you needed! I’m a cat of contrasts, running on only two settings: full-throttle and full-snuggle. When I'm in "On" mode, I’m the ultimate purr-suit machine, chasing down anything that dares to move, including that sneaky red dot that thinks it can outrun me (spoiler: it can't!). But when I'm in "Off" mode, you’ll find me curled up in the coziest spot I can find—preferably on you—purring louder than a lawnmower. As the self-appointed head of the Welcoming Committee, I make sure every visitor and resident knows who's boss around here (hint: it’s me). I expect your full, undivided attention the moment you walk through the door. Whether you’re coming home after a long day or just passing through, I’ll be right there to greet you, tail up and ready to charm. Looking to add a sprinkle of chaos and a whole lot of love to your life? I’m your guy! I specialize in turning "No, Dim Sum!" into "Aww, you little rascal!" faster than you can blink. If you’re ready for a life filled with laughter, exasperated sighs, and endless cuddles, then this dumpling is ready to pounce right into your heart and home!

Go meet their pets

We will be holding adoption event days with PetSmart on Ft Jackson Blvd and Two Notch Rd as well as PetSense on Garners Ferry Rd. These are partnerships that we've initiated and that have been greeted with open arms by these great organizations. MUCH More to Come!

More about this rescue

At Cat Around Town Project, we believe that by spaying and neutering as many stray and colony cats as possible, we are proactively controlling overpopulation at its source. All kittens and any cats that are adoptable are removed from the colonies and adopted to suitable homes. One day, when the supply meets the demand, there will be a home waiting for every kitten in our community. .
