Hi I’m Nellie! I was living outside on my own in Detroit when some nice people gave me food and took me inside. At first I was very nervous, humans are big and kind of scary but boy do I love scritches - I’ll even flop over when my foster pets me just right! I’m still learning that humans are safe, but am gentle even when I’m scared. I’m excellent at purring and making biscuits, but sometimes growl a little before remembering I’m safe. Loud noises and fast movements still scare me, so sometimes I hide, but I get braver every day. I’m young and learning how to be playful, I especially love tunnels and caves that make me feel safe.
I’m worried that no one will be interested in me because I have FeLV, but am hoping the right people come along so I can learn what having a loving forever home is all about. I'm in a foster home right now, so please complete an application to meet me.
