This amazing litter of puppies was rescued from a high kill shelter in Kern County. The shelter reached out to me and we drove up there and rescued 4. What was shocking was that each puppy was highly infested with ticks. Their ears were solid ticks, they were between every toe, hiding between toe pads... everywhere! It took hours. Each puppy was so calm, so accepting of the help we were giving them. The greatest part? This is one of the best litter of puppies I have ever rescued. Amazing dispositions. We are guessing they will be in the 15 pound range full grown.
All dogs in our program are up to date on all their shots, spayed or neutered, and micro chipped. Our dogs are in foster homes which enables us to learn more about them in a home environment. We do not place dogs on a first come first serve basis, but rather to the home best suited for them. An application, adoption fee and contract are required.
