Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Tequila!
Hi there, Tequila here! I’m a super chill hound dog who is looking for my forever home. I came to Albert’s as a senior gal, weighing about 45 pounds, after my dad could no longer care for me, even though he loved me lots. He’s so glad Albert’s is taking good care of me!
First, Albert’s gave me this super comfy bed and that is where you will find me 95% of the time - I love it! Except you know what? Those little chis in my foster home kick me out of my bed sometimes (and I Iet them). Foster mom says I need to “learn to stand up for myself.” But I just wait patiently until the chis leave and I can have my bed back (those tiny chis can be scary!!). I’m a gentle soul.
Albert’s also made sure I got caught up on all my vet care and removed some of my lumps and bumps so I can be more comfortable. I used to have a few little bumps on my eyes but they are all gone - don’t I Iook great?!
I never bark or howl, not even out in the yard when people walk by - foster mom isn’t sure I even know how. I also have excellent house manners - no accidents here, no way. I don’t need to be crated at all and you’ll mostly find me snoozing in bed until it's mealtime and then I’m up and around, because I love my food.
I live in a foster home with a baby and a little kid and my foster parents, and other dogs of all sizes and I get along with everyone. I’ll go on short walks, but I don’t need much exercise and I have some arthritis, so I don’t want to go on long walks (and I’m pretty lazy). I take meds for my arthritis, but just put a little peanut butter on my pills and I’ll eat them like a good girl.
I’m such an easy pup, how can you resist?!
