Luke is a very sweet and smart dog. 80% of the time he wants to be cuddled and just to relax with someone near him. The other 20% is a dog that loves to be outside going for walks and hikes. Once he’s out on a walk he does not want to stop and I have tried to test his limit but after a couple 4 hour hikes I’ve yet to reach it.
Unfortunately, I have a very busy schedule and his desire to be constantly with someone means his separation anxiety is through the roof and has not gotten to him being extremely destructive in the home. It is stressful for the both of us because it has gotten to the point that I cannot leave him alone for more than 3 hours without him biting, scratching, or peeing on something in my home.
Luke is house trained, crate trained, knows basic commands and understands most simple phrases being spoken to him.
He’s a wonderful dog, I just can’t dedicate the time needed to properly care for him anymore.
