My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

If you are interested in adopting an ARPO pet, please visit our website, for details about our fees and process, and to complete our Adoption Application.   ARPO limits adoptions to within 50 miles of Indianapolis.  We do not have a shelter; all pets are in volunteer foster homes.

Starling aka Pepper was recently returned to ARPO after her owner passed. She’s known the name Pepper for the last 9 years. Despite her namesake, Pepper is not a spicy girl. She’s loving and cuddly. And the best part is…the belly is not a trap! Pepper’s soft mews and even softer fur will have you wrapped around her toe beans in no time. I mean, just look at that baby pink nose! Pepper is looking for a home that will be committed to helping her continue her journey of getting to a healthy weight.

Pepper is bonded with her brother Talon aka Marvel. Affectionately dubbed the Super Chonks, this dynamic duo runs for cuddles and pets instead of fighting crime. Which let’s face it, if criminals spent all their time cuddling kitties, they wouldn’t have time to commit crimes. So I guess the Super Chonks are superheroes after all!
