My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Alex is nearing his 1st Birthday. He is loving, a little shy, and a very sweet boy.

He was abandoned under a porch in the Houston area. We stepped up to give him and his siblings a place to be nutured and grow.

Alex loves to play with his siblings and the other dogs here at the ranch. He loves children but hasn't had experience with cats.

He loves toys and playing tug-o-war. He loves to wrestle with the other dogs. He loves attention and will seek out his humans. He will crawl into your lap if you are sitting down. He is a complete love bug.

He is leash trained and house broken. He knows sit and stay. He is always eager to please and learns commands quickly.

Alex wants to spend his 1st Birthday in his furever home.

Submit application, phone or in-person interview, sign contract, pay adoption fee. Pets may be transported from our Texas ranch to Florida adopters, adopter pays the cost of transport. Meet and greets are done using Zoom or Facetime.
Once a companion animal becomes part of our family, our mission is to step in with help at any time in their lives that they may need it. We seek to stop the constant recycling of precious lives back into the streets and shelters. Our dogs are our family. They will always be welcomed back at Finn’s Rescue Ranch in Harper Tx during their lifetime when in need.

We are a private 501c3 not for profit based in Delray Beach FL. Every day SFCF sponsors and saves the lives of last chance end of the line dogs in kill shelters, abandoned animals and street dogs in Florida and Texas. Between SFCF and Finn’s Rescue Ranch in Harper Tx we have over 75 dogs in our care at any given time. SFCF sponsors medical behavioral and other last chance neglected or abused dogs. At Finn’s Ranch we rehabilitate our canine family physically emotionally and behaviorally before sending them to new lives with their forever families. We strive to send dogs from states where there are weak spay/ neuter laws and an over abundance of neglected and abandoned dogs to states where better animal protection laws are in place.
