Interested in adoption? The first step is an application at paddyspaws.blogspot.com. Please do not apply if pets in the home are not up to date per our website requirements or are not altered. Our rescue adopts to Wisconsin and Illinois. Our requirements for Illinois applications are: excellent vet history, no children under 7 in the home, and an owned home. Wisconsin does not have these requirements, though we will not consider applications where pets are missing core veterinary care.
Annie is a sweet girl in search of a new home with someone who will throw her ball for her and then cuddle on the couch, her two favorite things. Other than her ball obsession, she's lower energy, great with kids, and loves to be loved. She really does LOVE her ball but is very gentle when nudging it toward you to throw it for her to catch or run after. Annie knows come, sit, down, up, off, and is working on stay. She catches on to new things very quickly! She loves car rides, does well on a leash, and is excellent with her housetraining.
Annie is living in a foster home in Lake Mills, Wisconsin. She was adopted 6 years ago as a puppy, but her world was turned upside down when mom & dad suffered medical issues and she could no longer remain with them. She hopes to find a home with another calm dog (or she would be fine as an only dog as well) where she can spend the rest of her life!
Our process includes an approved application, reference checks, a homevisit, and once
approved a meet and greet with the dog. Adoption fee is $250.
