Meet Milli of the Kent County Litter!

Milli is named after the town of Millington. She was born on 2/18/24 and raised in a home in North Carolina. Mom is a Labrador Retriever and Dad is a scoundrel passing through the neighborhood. She is currently fostered in Millington, MD.

Milli is doing great house breaking. She has access to a doggy door, fenced area, and she has already learned to do her business outside.

Milli is the smallest in the litter, but she has a big heart that just wants to be with her people all the time. She wants nothing more than to snuggle in your lap and be cradled like a baby. She will even fall asleep sleep in your arms.

Milli will be a great addition to any family with or without small children. She has had her first puppy shots, microchipped and has been wormed.

Please Note:
1. You must have a dedicated private space for potty and outdoor exploration. Puppies often need additional immunizations before they are allowed to walk in public spaces such as apartment complexes, dog parks and anywhere other animals may be until the puppies are fully immunized.

2. Unless an existing good vet record exists, we will not adopt to anyone further than a 1-hour drive from the listed location. We need to be in close proximity to adopters when we need to follow up on vaccinations and spay/neuter. There is an additional $200 spay/neuter deposit for an adopter within one hour who does not have a current or prior good vet record.

3. Pup cannot be left alone for more than 3-4 hours at a time. This is necessary for comfort breaks and much-needed socialization for a pup this age.

We review veterinary care for applicants. This includes regular well visits, core vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm, and tickborne tests, as well as regular monthly heartworm prevention and flea/tick prevention. You MUST contact your veterinarian’s office to give them permission to speak to us BEFORE we call them to verify the care you have provided for your pets.

Applications are available at www.puppypawsrescue.org If your application meets our adoption criteria, we will contact you within 1 week. At that time, you will be contacted (usually by email) to schedule a phone interview and a virtual home visit (Facetime, Skype, etc). PLEASE CHECK your SPAM folder for emails from Puppy Paws Rescue.

Due to the volume of applications, applications that do not move forward to an interview may not receive a reply within that time frame. Our rescue is an all-volunteer team managing families, our paying jobs, households, foster dogs, application processing, interviews, home visits, follow-up, transports, and much more. We ask that you be courteous and patient with us.
