Meet Poppy
Introducing Poppy!

Poppy is an adorable Shih Tzu / Border Terrier mix who is approximately approx 1 year and currently weighs 25 pounds. We rescued this gal, along with who we believe to be her Brother Jay Jay, from the Cameron County shelter in south Texas near the border of Mexico.

Poppy is a very sweet and social dog. She loves everyone she meets and is happy to hop in a warm lap and get lots of love and affection. She enjoys playing with her toys and really likes playing in the water here on warm Texas days. She is curious and loves to romp around and play here at the rescue. She gets along well with other dogs and is crate trained for her melas and for sleeping. Poppy is just a happy-go-lucky little lady and we can really see her doing we’ll growing up in just about any family environment. She would love to have a home and family of her own!

Poppy is located at our rescue in Hondo, Texas and is available for transport to Allen Park, MI on June 15, 2024. She is spayed, up to date on all shots, microchipped and her adoption fee is $400. The fee includes the transport cost.
