My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

**Moomoo is a Patient Paw, please ask about her reduced adoption fee!**

Age: 3 years
Weight: 4.52kg / 9.9lb

Moomoo is a little lady with BIG opinions. She loves to meow at her humans to share them. She`s told us all about her ideal home and it includes no small children or dogs that might take any attention away from her! Moomoo`s new humans should be prepared to provide her with regular playtime (doing zoomies and chasing toy mice and feathers are her faves) and plenty of cozy sleeping spots. Scent enrichment is a great way to help her stay curious (plus, she loves it!) and our counsellors can tell you more about what that means. Moomoo is the kind of cat that likes to trust you before she gives you her heart, so her new humans shouldn`t expect her to treat them like a best friend right away! Lucky for you, once you are trusted, Moomoo is a truly lovely lady described as very sweet and fond of sleeping on your pillow next to you or curling up at the foot of the bed to keep your ankles warm or maybe even sitting on your lap when the mood strikes! When Moomoo is comfortable in a home, she loves to chase her feather wand in endless loops and cuddle up next to you for a nap when she gets tired. If you`re looking for a kitty to bring laughter to your life, then Moomoo is your gal!

More about this shelter

CONNECTING LIVES SINCE 1922

From our earliest beginning, Calgary Humane Society was more than a shelter. As Calgary’s first-established animal welfare organization, connecting the lives of animals and people while providing essential animal services to the community remains our central priority.

Today, Calgary Humane Society (CHS) shelters almost 5,000 homeless animals each year. In 1922 we set out to help as many animals as we can and we will continue to do so by fostering the values of respect, compassion, commitment, teamwork, integrity and innovation.

Our mission is to help as many animals as we can.

Our vision is using innovative strategies to lead, inspire, and educate in the humane treatment of companion animals, fostering an enlightened community that consistently demonstrates respect and compassion for all animals.

Our dream is a community where animals are valued, humanely treated, and live enriched lives.

Calgary Humane Society is committed to creating a better tomorrow through education and collaboration.
