Hello there, I’m Greta. I’m a one-year-old, 31-pound love bug. I started my life of in a breeding facility so everything in my foster home was new to me, this includes being loved. When I came into rescue I had a horrible skin infection, I didn’t know about grass, furniture and sadly human touch. My foster mom says I have come such a long way. I LOVE to be petted, sit next to my human, and run around in the back yard. I am doing great with my potty training, and leash walking as well. I am in a foster home with small K9’s, I do not try to play with them or toys, but I do enjoy watching them. I would love to be an only pup but I can coexist with another dog. When I’m in my foster mom’s lap (YES I AM A TOTAL LAP DOG) and one of my foster sibling tries to share the space I let them know NO. I am still nervous on car rides and tend to drool, so foster mom puts a bib on me…..so embarrassing. I still have a little anxiety when my foster mom leaves, but I’m learning that she comes back. I love to sleep in the big bed at night. A home with older dog savvy kids would be fine, but please remember I’m still shy and fast movement and loud noises scare me. I need a home with a fenced yard and a family who wants a level 5 snuggler. Greta is spayed, up to date on all vaccines, on heartworm preventative, de-wormed, and microchipped.
