Jace was found abandoned, and it seems he may be a possible relative of Jack. This little pup may be shy at first, but once he warms up to you, he will melt your heart with his undeniable sweetness and loving nature.
Jace would greatly benefit from being in a home with another dog, Jace thrives on companionship and having a lead dog by his side will help him build confidence and feel secure.
Despite his initial shyness, Jace is eager to please and has a strong desire to make his humans happy. He is a quick learner and is already making progress with crate and leash training. With patience, positive reinforcement, and love, Jace will continue to blossom and become an even more wonderful companion.
If you're looking for a loyal and devoted furry family member, Jace would be the perfect addition to your home. He longs for a loving family who will provide him with the care, attention, and patience he deserves.

Spark Rescue Santa Barbara is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit charity animal rescue organization, founded in February 2014, in Santa Barbara, Ca. We are a foster based rescue that relies on people opening their home and hearts to saving animals in need. Please ask about our foster program.
Spark Rescue Santa Barbara provides:
-Rescue to animals in Southern CA county animal shelters that would otherwise be euthanized.
we provide foster care, veterinary care, and sterilization for animals in need.
-Rehoming for animals surrendered by their owners who either can no longer provide for their pets or no longer wish to have them in their homes.
-Adoption of rescued pets to qualified homes that have been properly screened and counseled by our adoption coordinators.
-Foster homes to provide our rescues with a loving home environment. We believe a dog or cat will do far better adjusting when they are part of a family than to be cared for in a noisy kennel surrounded by sick and barking dogs or cramped cages.
Spark Rescue Santa Barbara's Vision:
-Our vision is to help end euthanasia in Southern California by bringing high risk animals (that were slated for euthanasia) into our program for social rehabilitation and re-homing to permanent loving homes. At this time we only adopt to homes in Santa Barbara County & Ventura county.
-To educate the public on the importance of spaying and neutering their pets! To provide help for those who cannot afford to have their pets altered. To sway our government to have harsh penalties for people that continue to breed their dogs/cats without a breeders license.
-We want to be a valuable resource to our community. We believe that one person can make the difference in the life of an animal, so as an organization, we have the strength to help alot more!
-Spark Rescue Santa Barbara's vision in the near future is to acquire land and have the ability to rescue and house as many animals as possible; a place where the animals will be free to roam and socialize but still be in a family environment; where potential adopters can come visit our rescues. Where volunteers can come together and give the rescues as much love and attention as possible.
