Sweet Boy Edward is a 2 year old beautiful lab mix weighing just under 70 lbs of pure love, loyalty and sweetness.

Edward is a very active young boy that enjoys his milk bones and lots of treats. He is very treat motivated so continued training will be easy with this fella!
He is very smart and enjoys walks playing football or any ball for that matter. He is well trained and will let you know when it's potty time and doesn't have accidents in the house! He also knows basic commands and will give you his paw and will sit when told … but there is a treat tax required for that!
Edward is very loyal and will love his humans.
He loves to get affection and gravitates to wherever they are.
Edward has been trained to walk on a gentle leash and that will be sent home with you! He waits patiently for you to put it on and is a dream to walk with it on.

*dog friendly- we do slow, short timed leash intros since he is so excited to meet everyone
*Did we mention that Edward has been fostered with cats? Yes! He lives with cats!
* very kid friendly- He has lived with young kids from ages 4-10
* rides well in the car and can get in and out on his own
*Edward is very “talkative” at first, no communication issues in this relationship lol
He loves all the pets and cuddles and will do anything for attention!
Edward went out this weekend to a bustling outdoor restaurant surrounded by kids and dogs. He did fantastic laying at his fosters feet quietly observing everyone around.
Edward would do best in a home with a fenced in yard where he can run and play whenever he pleases! He would also benefit living in a home with another doggy companion (female or non-conflict driven male) that will help him open up and acclimate to his new home.

Our PNW dogs are brought to you in style by a beautiful USDA licensed semi-truck, equipped with air conditioning for comfort, two drivers, and 2 onboard attendants providing 24 hour care. Our East Coast route will travel in a private, air conditioned 3LP-run van transport. Pick u-p day is unforgettable! You will get to follow along on their journey through a private FB Event page, where you will see photos, have the opportunity to connect with other adopters, and receive updates and constant communication along the way. One of our Adoption Coordinators can help to find the closest transport pick up location to you!
The adoption fee is $725 and includes all vetting as recommended by our doctor: DAPP (2 to 4 depending on age and time in the program), Bordetella, Rabies vaccine (if old enough), multiple broad spectrum deworming treatments, spay/neuter, flea prevention, 2 months of heartworm preventative, extended medical such as dentals, eye surgeries, and orthopedic surgeries prior to adoption when suggested by our partner vets, a microchip with free lifetime registration, a high quality nylon Martingale collar for dogs over 4 months old, a health certificate deeming the pup healthy for travel, cost of transport*, and many priceless years of love and loyal companionship! *WE ARE TOLD THAT WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND MEDICALLY. This is the feedback we tend to get, although we cannot guarantee perfect health. *To fully vet a dog in the PNW at many vets it would be upwards of $1,800 just to fix, vaccinate, chip, etc. The adoption fees charged by our rescue do not cover our expenses medically for each animal, but we offset costs with donations. Your adoption fee is considered a donation towards actual costs.
