Hola! My name is SUNNY (or "Sunflower") and here is some info about me:
PHYSICAL INFO:
RESCUE STORY – I was taken in during a TNR (trap, neuter, release) program in Mexico City. After I was spayed, I was released back onto the streets of Mexico... but guess what? I decided I'd rather be rescued for good! So I waited outside a rescuers home and when she opened her house gate to feed the neighbourhood strays, I just weaseled my way inside and refused to leave, hehe sorry not sorry! I am well taken care of here at the shelter, but I am so eager to find my forever home (hopefully with you!!)
TEMPERAMENT - I am a sweet, super smart girl who is a very fast learner. I like to play with other dogs and humans and I'm really just such a happy go lucky girl. I am fairly high energy and am built for adventure-- I think I would LOVEEEE all that the Pacific Northwest has to offer! I am pretty chill around my shelter mates and I don't show any resource guarding when food is out (video).
Fun Fact! My name comes from the fun fact that I like to twirl around when I`m going to be fed (in Spanish Sunflower is Gira-sol which translates to “around the sun”).
ENERGY LEVEL - medium/high energy. I require walkies and play time but after I've had sufficient exercise, I'm sure I'll be happy to cuddle up and snooze!
GETS ALONG WITH:
TRAINING:
Please Note: WCP Dog Rescue partners with Unleashed Dog Training (Hannah Swain, Balanced Dog Trainer) to offer adopters 50% off one training session (not including tax and applicable gas surcharges). Any subsequent sessions will be offered at standard rates. WCP also highly encourages adopters to do some research and training on their own before their dog arrives.
HEALTH NOTES:
ADOPTION FEE:

Please visit wcpdogrescue.com to read about West Coast Paws Dog Rescue and it's adoption process.
The info included in each WCP bio is provided to us from the international rescuer. WCP does not have in-person access to overseas dogs and cannot always verify the accuracy of their descriptions, although we ask for video proof of a dog's attributes wherever possible. Every dog is an individual and can act differently in different situations based on the person(s) adopting them and the environment in which they live.
WCP is unable to guarantee the accuracy of a dogs age and/or breed. These are strictly "best guesses" based on veterinary exams and their educated estimates.
