Gemma is a spayed bulldog that we rescued from a shelter almost 6 years ago. She had either escaped an abusive breeding situation or was dumped after no longer deemed useful as the shelter found her walking down the middle of the road and you could tell she'd had puppies fairly recently. I’m unsure how old she is as we’ve been told different ages by different vets. She is a typical lazy bulldog that is perfectly content lounging around all day as long as she has something soft to lay on. She’s wonderful with my teen daughter and has been fine with our 17 month old. She does have some food aggression and is selective about other female dogs. She is protective of my daughter and is a loyal pet. She would do best with someone experienced with dogs and her breed.
