My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Jake! I'm a young, playful pup with loads of energy and a freckled face who's always ready to bring a smile to your day. I absolutely adore my foster sibling who sets the pace for our playtime adventures, and I'd love to find a forever home with another high-energy dog to match my enthusiasm.

When it comes to kiddos, I would do best with older ones that can keep up with my active nature or I'd be fine in a home without kids. When I'm not playing, I love spending quality time with my humans. Whether taking a walk, sunbathing on the patio, or chilling and watching movies, I'm always happy to be by your side. (I just love human and doggo attention!)

I'm crate and house-trained, making me a well-behaved companion most of the time. I do get super excited and might jump up to show my joy, so a bit more training will help me become the best boy I can be. And I will thrive on lots of physical and mental stimulation so let's build our bodies and minds together.

I'm a goofy, fun-loving pup who loves people and other dogs. If you're looking for a high-energy, affectionate companion, I'm your guy! Let's get the fun and games started!
Your freckled-face cutie,
Jake

More about this rescue

We are a foster/volunteer based 501c3 nonprofit dog rescue in Dallas, Texas. Our mission is to reduce the number of homeless pit bull type dogs in shelters and on the streets through rescue, rehabilitation, education, and advocacy.

Our goal is to educate the public about a breed that often falls victim to breed specific legislation, discrimination, and cruelty and promote responsible pet ownership through spay/neuter initiatives, vaccinations, and training resources.
