My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I’m Teddy! I am an approx. 18 month old Yorkie mix weighing 9 pounds. I came from a house that had too many dogs, so I was surrendered to get the attention I needed and to find a loving home.

I am house trained, and also crate trained. I sound like a fire engine when I want out of my crate or your attention, so apartment living would not be for me.

I am a velcro dog - I attached to my foster mom quickly but love all adults I've met. Truth be told I'm not a fan of little kids, so I'd be looking for a home with kids over 8, or an adult only home.

Cats I could live with. I only met a 6 week old kitten we were fostering. As long as it did its thing while I did mine. We were fine.

I've been around dogs of all sizes, but I prefer calm dogs. I'd be fine as a only dog, king of the castle.
I get excited by toys, but what I like most of all is human attention!

I am neutered, vaccinated with distemper/parvo, bordetella and rabies vaccines, heartworm negative and on heartworm, flea & tick prevention, dewormed and microchipped. My adoption fee is $525. I am currently fostered in the south suburbs of Chicago.
