My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lovey is a very loving and cuddly girl. Her favorite things are small cat sized toys she can carry around, walks, going for rides in the car and playing fetch! She's full of energy but also enjoys cuddling on the couch for naps. She's potty trained to go outside and crate trained. She does well on her own for short periods but prefers to be with her person. In the beginning, she was very shy as she had a very abrupt restart to her life losing her original owner. She does need someone patient and willing to give her the space to come to you and within a day or two she seeks out attention. Once she knows she's safe she settles in great and bonds quickly. With that, she doesn't like to share her person. She would do best in a home without children, other dogs, or small animals. She is a terrier and will chase. Small dog experience may be best! She did spend most of her life in a quieter environment with an elderly woman, so she may do best in a similar setting, but she has thrived with an active lifestyle too! She is vaccinated and clear of heartworm.
