Syne was born on January 1st, 2024. He is a chihuahua terrier mix currently around 6lbs and is just as sweet as his brother Resolution, but he is more of a timid boy. Syne is a very sensitive soul and has a hard time meeting new people due to being easily frightened, but once you get to know him, he will be your best friend! Syne is a very loyal dog and wants nothing more than to be your companion. His favorite thing in the world is cuddling, and the closer he can get to you, the better! Syne does well with other dogs and cats and would do well with a playmate similar in size. Syne is somewhat of a barker, so I don’t think he would thrive in an apartment, but he is still a puppy and has lots of time to learn! He has been crate trained at night and is 99% potty trained using a doggy door. A fun fact about Syne is he has the cutest underbite that gives his smile character! We require an adoption application to be filled out which includes personal references. An in-Home check by a Mikey's Chance volunteer is also performed prior to adoption. Our dogs come to the adopter "ready-to-go" with current Vet health checks, all shots and vaccinations current and the animal spayed or neutered, as well as micro-chipped.
Our adoption process can take 2-4 weeks to process as we are run completely by volunteers, all of whom work full time jobs.

We focus mainly on saving dogs that are at risk or on “Death Row” in shelters in our area, and placing them to great families.
