My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This is a courtesy post. Please do not contact Heart of the Foothills Animal Rescue for information. Contact information is provided in the description below.

Ozzy is an 11-month-old Lab/Jack Russell mix. He is very smart and has lots of high energy. He loves all animals and people, and would make a great addition to a family that has room for him to run and time to invest. He is neutered, vaccinated, house trained, and crate trained.

Additional adoption info

Everyone that adopts must first fill out an application and get approved by our adoption team. We allow people to meet our animals to make sure it is the right fit along with letting their animals meet our animals as well as long as that animal meets the vetting criteria.

More about this rescue

We are a non-profit and no-kill shelter in Rutherford North Carolina. We pull animals from animal control and take in animals from the community. We make sure everyone is healthy, up to date on vaccinations, spayed or neutered, microchipped, dewormed, and put on something for fleas, ticks and heartworm prevention. We then place them up for adoption making sure they go into great homes.
