Maggie is an intrepid spirit who is embracing her new path in life. She is a spark of energy and fun, but also fully embraces going belly-up with me on the couch. This girl LOVES balls and is particularly taken with the orange Chuck-It balls. No squeaker needed to get her interest! In fact, when I pack my lunch each morning, I surreptitiously get the apple from the fridge to my lunch bag because an apple looks A LOT like a ball, which Maggie would like me to throw!
Maggie is a great dog who takes on all adventures with 100% effort. Playing ball – she's all in, and she’ll gently drop the ball in your hand or at your feet to make your next throw as convenient (and speedy) as possible. Snuggling – she's all in, fast asleep and wedged between you and the back of your couch. Playing – all in! We’ve had some good games of tug and she’smade me laugh as she plays by herself. But be warned: plushies won’t survive long!
Maggie seems to like being part of our pack, even though our pack is only three. She is most content when we are all together, and she likes to check in with both her dog brother and me. She seems to be learning some of her home-training from being with my dog, but I also think she would love being the center of attention. Maggie wants love, and a family who will give her time to chase and retrieve balls, play with her toys, regular walks and days that include snuggled, settled time together. Maggie has more to learn about being a mannerly dog in a house, but she learns quickly and wants to do the right thing.
