Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This is Bean. He is a 7-month old Lab mix. He's a great pup that aims to please and he's VERY food motivated, making it easy for training. Bean knows sit, down, and is getting good with impulse control on jumping though, he does get overly excited sometimes and will still jump.
Bean was living in a foster home with other dogs and cats. He is fine with cats and leaves them alone but in true typical puppy fashion, may enjoy a good chase from time to time but he is NOT aggressive. Bean LOVES people, he loves cuddling on the couch and in bed.
About 2-3 weeks ago, two of the dogs in Beans foster home got into a fight, resulting in one dog ending up with some punctures so the foster decided she needed to focus on her dogs. Due to this Bean had to go back to our facility/boarding. He did not and has not been adapting well. This is not his fault, his whole world was just turned upside down.
We did start Bean on some medication to calm him down while he's there and to adjust into a new home, we do not believe he'll need it long term.
Bean does love people, almost to his fault. He should live in a home with someone who is home more than they are not. He does well on a leash, and did we mention he loves to cuddle?
We cannot stress how sweet and loving Bean is. We really hope to find him a family that will enjoy him and let him show them how great of a dog he really is.
Bean does need to get neutered and we will work with an adopter to get this completed. We'd rather not have him heal in boarding. He is up to date on rabies & DHPP. He'll also be microchipped at the time of the neuter. He has been on a normal deworming schedule and receives monthly flea/tick preventatives.
His adoption fee is $450 plus tax which includes post-adoption support and other perks! You can read about it on our website.
