Hi! My name is Daisy! I was rescued as an island street dog from Honduras and brought to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue to find my FURever home. Living on the streets was a pretty ruff life, so I'm very glad to have been rescued. When I arrived, I didn't really understand things like love and affection from people since I hadn't had that before, but I have finally started to emerge from my shell and blossom into a total sweetheart. I would do best in a nice, quiet home where I can adjust at my own pace, so I'd prefer no small kids, though I would make a good companion for seniors and would be a perfect apartment dog. Not only am I laid back, I'm also a little lady! At about 35lbs, I would call myself fun sized. While other dogs are running around going wild, I prefer a much more relaxing experience. Once you help me open up, I will be the best lap dog you could ask for!

If you are interested in adopting a dog from us please visit our website adoptions page to complete an adoption application. at www.bdrr.org/adopt. This will help us make sure we find you the right dog to fit your situation and family. Once you have completed the application, we will contact you to let you know you have been approved and then you will be able to set up an appointment to come and meet dogs you are interested in. Our adoption fees range depending on the dog's breed, age and other factors.
