Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
A bundle of joy all wrapped up in a wonky-eared puppy with a soulful gaze
Roo's known for his friendly-rapid-tail-wagging greetings, he wants to meet everyone and every dog he passes on his walks. He is curious about the world around him and interested in learning new things - this boy doesn't know what ‘shy' means!
ABOUT ROO: - 6 months old, Lab mix, male, likely to grow to a 55-65 lb medium-large sized dog - He came to EHS as an unclaimed stray - Roo has already learned many of his basic commands. - Like all puppies, he is mouthy and needs to learn what is appropriate to chew, he is easily redirected - Roo has not been vocal during his time in the shelter or foster home - Very food-motivated making it easier to train, as always consistency in training will be important. - He is working on his house-training - Roo is microchipped and has core vaccinations and he will be neutered before he is adopted
ROO'S IDEAL HOME: - A fully fenced yard is ideal for him to play freely, explore and run - As a puppy learning and growing, he will need training for his walks and to work on his obedience - He has not met any children (that we are aware of) but could be good with older children - His sociability with other dogs, including listening to them, shows that he may be good with another dog in the home, this would be determined at a meet and greet - We are not recommending him for a home with cats or other small animals, at least not at first, due to his puppy energy
