My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi I’m Latte. I’m a year old spayed Boxer mix. I love the dogs at my foster mom’s house and we play and wrestle with each other. I can be a bit bossy with other dogs, so if you have a dog and want to adopt me, a meet and greet is a must and slow introductions at home will go a long way to making sure we can be good friends. I am energetic and cuddly. I do need some help working on my manners because I love to jump up and look you in the face. So my foster mom thinks I would do best in a home without small children. But I am a Latte of fun (see what I did there?) and cuteness and will make your life a Latte better!

I am a good girl who has bouts of high energy to burn off but I also like to lay on the couch with you. I’m house trained and love chew toys and treats. I’m sure the right forever home is out there for me, could it be yours?

If your application is chosen and approved we will setup a meet and greet with the pet. You will hear back regardless if chosen or not.

We place the dogs in the best home not the first home. Please be patient while we go over all apps and we will be in touch.

We are foster based. You must apply on Crossyourpaws.com first. If your application is chosen as the best fit for the dog we will move forward with the approval process. Once approved you will be setup with a time to meet the dog. Our dogs are all over the greater Pittsburgh area.

Here at Cross Your Paws Rescue, we are driven by a single goal; to save lives. We are doing our part in making the world a better place for all pets. Our decision to start a rescue is not one that we have taken lightly, it has come after years of volunteer work with other groups. Our goal is to make this world a place where starving, abused animals is a thing of the past. That shelters filled with dogs and cats waiting to be euthanized is unheard of. We want euthanasia to be something to help pets on their way to the Rainbow bridge not to end lives because of overpopulation. We vow to save every life that we can.
