My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Indigo Jade
Born 12/7/23. Best guess is she will be 45-50 lbs as an adult. Border collie/ Australian shepherd/ husky mix. Indigo is a super sweet dog who spends all day playing with her sibling and her mom, but loves to cuddle when she’s ready for a break. She’s very smart and curious and likes to take a minute to think about new things. She has met other dogs and respects their space and would do well in a home with another dog. She’s very active and loves to play fetch and play with toys. Indigo attended her 1st session of puppy school at Idaho Humane Society and picked up on the cues very quickly and was eager to learn. She would love to do agility or learn lots of tricks with her new human and is looking forward to lots of adventures. Indie sleeps through the night in a crate with her with her sibling. Up to date on vaccines, wormed, micro chipped, health checks, located in southern Idaho transport is available with in the Pacific northwest. Email journeyhomerescue@outlook.com for Indigo Jade.

Go meet their pets

At present we are a foster based rescue. People are welcome to come meet our animals in their foster homes by appointment. In the future we will have adoption events in our areas.

More about this rescue

The founders of the multi state rescue have over 80 years of experience in rescue. We saw the need to use our experience to help and we formed Journey Home. Our love and passion for helping neglected, injured, abandoned, homeless animals is our utmost priority. Educating the communities on the need for spayed, neuter, and vaccines and training as needed. We rely on donations, and fundraisers and grants to help sustain the rescue.
