I adopted a 6 month old pit mix named Bailey in November from a rescue in Texas. She is a sweet, cuddly - whole body wiggle tail wag, fun loving girl. She wants to be in the middle of everything and loves everyone and every dog she meets. She always runs up to joyfully greet our dog walking buddies at the park and plays and plays with the dogs. Bailey thinks it is a fun game to take toys from the other dogs in our house and all but one of my dogs think that is a fun game. My one dog sees it as a competition for resources and she and Bailey don’t get along because of it. I have separated the two so things do not escalate, and it is hard on both of them. Bailey gets along great and plays with my 2 other dogs - it is just the one that she does not get along with.
I know Bailey will flourish in a home where other dogs are not competitive about toys or resources. I am happy to drive wherever her next home is, and give her crate, toys and food to her adopters!
