THIS IS A COURTESY POST. Purrfect Friends Cat Rescue and its volunteers have not evaluated this animal in any way and can not be held liable for the current condition or future care of the animal. Please work with the specific contact in the posting to confirm if the animal is spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, etc. and for a complete description of the animal's personality and behavior traits.
If you love orange boys with chonky cheeks, then you need to meet Ziggy!
Ziggy was rescued from a cat colony at the end of March. He was too friendly and well-mannered to go back outside after his neuter surgery. Zig is a mellow guy who enjoys lounging about and the quiet and safety of indoor life. Head and chin pets are his favorite form of attention but food is his true love language. He was pretty skinny when I trapped him, so he had some catching up to do.
As a rescued community cat, Ziggy is a sensitive kitty who requires a little extra patience and time to adapt to new surroundings. He would probably do fine as a single cat. He has been a good roommate with two young female cats. They play chase with each other, but otherwise he doesn't seem attached to cat buddies. Ziggy has been introduced to other adult male rescues. They hang out in the same room together just fine but tend to keep to themselves.
Ziggy is likely in the 4 -6 year-old range. He is neutered, vaccinated (rabies and FVRCP) and tested negative for FeLV and FIV. Ziggy is excellent at litter box. To make sure Ziggy is a good match for you and your home, I'm open to a foster to adopt trial. The adoption process includes an application and adoption fee.
If you would like more information or would like to meet Ziggy, please contact Kelly Martin:
