My name is Callie!

Callie is a sweet snuggle bug. She is totally delightful and can't wait to hit the couch with you. She will soak up all the attention you can give her. Once she gets to know you her loyalty is absolute. She is well trained; she sits, stays, spins, high fives and maybe a few other things. She is nine years old.

Callie was surrendered to foster care by her owners who are having a baby and did not feel that Callie would be a good fit with a newborn. She has been with them for 9 years.

Callie is crate trained and can go a full work day without being let out (if absolutely necessary). However, she will not sleep in the crate if she knows you are in bed without her. She likes to lounge on the back of the sofa. She enjoys going for walks and pulls on the leash quite a bit so we bought her a pinch collar which was just what she needed. She will not stay outside alone, but will hang out in the yard if you are on the deck or gardening.
